Cross-Post Content Across Platforms

Stop copying and pasting. Write once, intelligently post everywhere.

What You'll Build

A content distribution system that:

  • Takes a single message/article
  • Adapts format for Twitter, LinkedIn, Threads
  • Optimizes hashtags and mentions per platform
  • Posts simultaneously or with smart delays

Setup

1. Connect Platforms

Connect:
- Twitter (via Twitter plugin)
- LinkedIn (via API)
- Threads (via API)

2. Define Adaptation Rules

When I post a message, auto-adapt:

Twitter:
- Shorten to <280 chars
- Add 2-3 hashtags
- Casual tone

LinkedIn:
- Expand with professional context
- Add line breaks for readability
- Tag relevant people/companies
- Include "Thoughts?" CTA

Threads:
- Similar to Twitter but slightly longer
- More personal/behind-the-scenes vibe

3. Create Posting Workflow

When I send "POST: [message]" to my agent:
1. Generate optimized versions
2. Show me previews
3. Post after I approve (or auto-post if I say "auto mode on")

Example

Your Input:

POST: Just launched a feature that auto-scales OpenClaw agents based on load. Cut costs by 40% overnight.

Twitter Output:

Just shipped auto-scaling for OpenClaw agents 🚀

Load-based scaling = 40% cost reduction overnight.

LinkedIn Output:

Excited to announce our latest feature: intelligent auto-scaling for OpenClaw agents.

The challenge: most hosted agents run 24/7 at full capacity, even when idle. This drives up costs and wastes resources.

Our solution: dynamic scaling based on real-time load. Agents spin down during quiet hours and scale up when needed.

Early results: 40% cost reduction for most users, with zero performance impact.

Thoughts on cloud cost optimization in the AI agent space?

Threads Output:

Big day! We just launched auto-scaling for OpenClaw.

Basically: your agent sleeps when you sleep, wakes up when you need it. 40% cheaper to run.

Feels like the obvious way this should've worked from day 1 tbh.

Lmk if you want to test it 🦀

Pro Tips

  1. Timing: Stagger posts by 5-10 minutes (looks more organic)
  2. Platform Analytics: Track which platform drives most traffic
  3. Image Variants: Auto-resize images to each platform's optimal dimensions
  4. Video: Transcribe videos and post as text threads on Twitter
